Retirees Dino Mario CAPONE
One of our colleagues and a member of the Retirees Association, Dino M. Capone, who worked at NYPL in the Research Library, died on Dec. 17, 2012. He had worked many years in the Stack Maintenance and Delivery Division and had retired about 10 years ago. A colleague and fellow retiree, Louis Becker, told us that he had been ill for some time.

Dino Mario Capone, 78, New York, N.Y., entered into rest Monday at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
He was born in Altoona, son of Costantino and Cristina (Tupone) Capone. Surviving are a sister, Lilia Sprankle, of Altoona; two brothers: Alberto in California and Gene of Altoona; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Richard Garren in California; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Domenico and Arturo.
Dino was raised in Altoona and attended local schools. He was a graduate of Penn State University and also attended Fordham University, Hunter College and City College of New York, New York City. He retired from the New York Public Library.
