Zenon KUROWYCKY died on November 17, 2016. He was seventy-two years-of-age at the time of his death.
Zenon began at NYPL in the Cataloging Department and spent the majority of his forty-year-long career in the Slavonic Division. He is remembered by staff and public for his humor and frequent puns. He retired on December 28, 2002, and became a member of the Retirees Association. Zenon is survived by his wife, Wieslawa, and his daughter, Eva.
