Irene MORAN
Irene Moran, who was Associate Chief of the Public Relations Office in the late 1970’s, died February 21st. She was 93. Irene left The New York Public Library in 1979 to be the Director of Public Relations at the Brooklyn Public Library and was there until her retirement in 1987. Although she had lived in Jersey City all her life, when she retired she decided to move to California to be near her sister Anne, her nephews, Edward and Dennis and her nieces, Ellen and Diane.
