Frances FRISCIA
Frances Friscia died on May 11, 2020, at her home in Pacific Grove, California. She was 101 years of age at the time of her death.
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Fran received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pace University in 1944. She began her NYPL career in August, 1956, serving as Assistant Controller and then Acting Controller, a position she held at her retirement on December 28, 1975.
Frances Friscia relocated to Pacific Grove, where she was a volunteer and board member at various nonprofits and local museums. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and their extended families.
