TOUR OF WOODLAWN CEMETERY
The Retirees Association is planning a trip to Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx on October 21st at 2 pm. Woodlawn is the resting place of many famous people, including Robert Moses, Cicely Tyson, George M. Cohan, Nellie Bly, Damon Runyon, Duke Ellington, Celia Cruz, and many, many others. Many impressive monuments and mausoleums are located there. Since the cemetery is huge, we have scheduled a trolley tour. The cost should be about $20 per person.
