Chad QUARTUCCIO

We are sad to report that Chad Quartuccio died on January 24, 2018, at the age of 66.
Chad’s long career at NYPL included positions at the Andrew Heiskell Braille and Talking Book Library as well as at various Bronx and Manhattan branches. Chad served for many years as the Children’s Specialist on Staten Island, where he remained until his retirement on August 17, 2009.

Chad was an accomplished and enthusiastic storyteller. He was known as a mentor to numerous staff members interested in working with children. After his retirement, he continued to volunteer his time and expertise to children’s and storytelling events throughout NYPL. Chad enjoyed cooking and was also an avid fisherman.
Condolences may be sent to his wife, Susan Singer, 330 West 55th Street, Apt. 5J, New York, NY 10019.
