John WHITT
John Whitt died on February 7, 2017. He was a resident of Endwell, NY, at the time of his death.
John was well known to library patrons and staff as a dedicated reference librarian at the Bloomingdale Regional Library. He is remembered by his colleagues as an early technology expert as well as the branch go-to editor. John's visual impairment never got in the way of quality public service. He retired from NYPL on August 12, 2008 and joined the Retirees Association. John and his wife, Gayle, relocated to the Syracuse area to be near to his brother and family.
